Kikana

36389-HQ-LEL (237 km²)
Shallow Copper Oxide Blanket and Deeper Sulphide Potential
Kikana is located in the Western Domes region where many of Zambia's largest producing copper mines are found.
Kikana (36389-HQ-LEL) is located within the highly prospective Eastern Domes region of the Zambian Copperbelt, approximately 48 km from Kansanshi Mine — Africa’s largest producing copper mine (982 Mt @ 0.61% Cu and 0.11 g/t Au at a 0.2% Cu cut-off). The project sits along the same regionally extensive northwest-trending structural and lithological corridor that hosts Kansanshi and several other major copper deposits.

There is a significant package of historic data from previous phases of exploration. This includes close spaced soil geochemistry, regional geophysics, aircore drilling along some of the copper in soil geochemistry anomalies and a limited amount of diamond drilling. Since acquisition Zamare has flown close-spaced aereomagnetics and collected 22km of lines of AMT (audio frequency magneto-tellurics) across prospective parts of the licence. From this Zamare has developed a more detailed litho-structural map of the licence. This work, integrated with the historic work, has generated a number of highly prospective areas which require drilling as follow up. These include a near surface shallow oxide blanket in Kikana Main, oxide targets and a deeper sulphide drill target at Kikana Central. Residual potential also exist further along strike at Kikana West prospect.

Kikana Main – Near-Surface Copper Oxide Opportunity

Kikana Main hosts a compelling near-surface copper oxide blanket with strong potential for rapid development, alongside a pipeline of deeper copper sulphide targets that highlight the broader scale of the mineral system.
Historic drilling completed by First Quantum Minerals intersected significant shallow oxide mineralisation, including:

23.3 m @ 1.75% Total Cu

Initial internal estimates indicate an exploration target of approximately 2.4 Mt @ 0.85% Cu in situ potential (non-compliant), demonstrating the potential for a shallow, open-pittable copper resource.

The mineralisation is:

Near surface and flat lying
Potentially amenable to low-strip open pit mining
Associated with elevated silver values up to 50 g/t Ag in high-grade copper zones

A diamond drilling program is being planned to rapidly advance resource definition and evaluate the potential for early-stage oxide copper production.
Importantly, Kikana presents a potential near-term, non-dilutive funding opportunity capable of supporting advancement of Zamare’s broader portfolio of high-impact copper and critical mineral projects.

Kikana Central – Emerging Copper Discovery Corridor

Located approximately 1.5 km west of the Kikana Main oxide resource area, Kikana Central represents a large-scale, untested copper target with strong potential for both shallow oxide and deeper sulphide mineralisation.

The prospect is defined by:
A continuous >5 km long copper-in-soil anomaly with values exceeding 300 ppm Cu
Strong geological continuity from Kikana Main interpreted through high-resolution magnetic data, detailed surface geochemistry, and 3D AMT geophysical modelling
Shallow aircore drilling intersecting anomalous copper (>1,000 ppm Cu) associated with interpreted hydrothermal alteration zones

Kikana Central is situated within a structurally complex corridor considered highly prospective for epigenetic copper sulphide systems, with multiple coincident geological, geochemical, and geophysical vectors highlighting the scale of the opportunity.

The target also shows strong potential for the development of additional shallow oxide copper mineralisation comparable to the Kikana Main copper blanket, further expanding the project’s near-surface resource potential.
